However, that's not all... Apriely is also a devoted wife, a loving mother to 6 beautiful children, 3 being autistic, and has been a part of the Valley Mountain Regional Center (VMRC) community as a parent of participants for 26+ years.
Born in San Francisco, Ca., but grew up in Fresno, Ca., Apriely & her only & eldest sister Winntrest R. Hampton, were foster children, later rescued from foster care by their paternal grandmother and father, and moved to Stockton, Ca. at 12 and 16 years of age. No stranger to hard work, Apriely and her sister worked odd jobs as teenagers, granted emancipation, and graduated high school despite all odds against them. Determined to excel, their life's journey led them to earning their Bachelors and Masters degrees with honors: Apriely, her BA degree in Accounting and her Executive MBA, and Winntrest, her BA in Social work, as well as her Masters in Social Work. Both successful entrprenuers and CEO's in their respective fields, dedicating all of their hard work, victories, and successes to their loving deceased mother, Sharon E. Taylor.
Afforded an opportunity to give back, Apriely served on the VMRC Finance Committee for 2 years, was invited to participate in several of VMRC Board Meetings, and currently has the honor of becoming the very first Financial Management Service (FMS) vendored through (VMRC)! She is a United States Air Force veteran, an avid reader, God fearing, loves to sing in her church choir, enjoys spending all of her free time with her adorable, quirky, fun-loving husband and children, and caring for her 95 year old spunky and spirited grandmother!
